gaspipe_signIt was only for a day, in fact, really only for about 15 minutes.   But on Saturday, nearly 7 years to the day, Mike Valenti returned to the Lansing airwaves joining Jack Ebling to discuss all things Sports from the eye's of a Spartan..  and especially..   MSU.

Seven years ago..   Mike started his show like this..

When looking back on the 2002 Spartan football season one can come up with a range of emotions. I still think back to those August mornings on the show talking about schedule projections and possible big games. What started out with such promise, ended up bursting into flames and smoldering slowly for all to see.

Back in August 2002, the show opened a little bit different then it does now..   gone would be the stupid music, the guy talk, T-Fos...   in would be the Godfather, full of spit and vinegar..  and the talk would be sports.

How many folks remember the show opening to the right ?

On Saturday, 11/28/09, Mike joined Jack and Tom in Lansing to discuss the happenings of Michigan State University, his F grade for Sparty's season and why with the problems at Michigan, the problems at Notre Dame, Michigan State is screwing the pouch.  The clip below runs 6 minutes and 42 seconds.

As the conversation advances, Mike and Tom talk about the demise of the Big 10, how horrific the football play in the 2009 season was including a comparison to the Mountain West Confence.

Not stopping with just blowing up MSU, Mike takes aim at Ohio State and their handling of Terrell Pryor.  Mike also takes a shot at Mark Hollis and MSU scheduling over the next decade.

Mike predicts a 2010 season where there isn't a team MSU should lose to.

Mike and Tom also spend a little bit of time discussing MSU basketball.

This clip runs 6 minutes and 2 seconds.
