A strong field of over 30 cars attempted to qualify for the 50-lap Howe Racing Enterprises Modified feature event. Ken O'Connor sat on the pole, leading the opening three laps before Ten-Time Track Champion Bill luckhurst_nationals_winnerLuckhurst found a way around. However, Robby Johnson, driving a car normally driven by 1995 Track Champion Todd Matheson, would close in on Luckhurst. The close chase would be to no avail as Bill Luckhurst went on to win his ninth feature of the season. Robby Johnson came home second with Travis Eddy, Mike Luberda, Jr. and Steve Bates, Jr. rounding out the top five. Robby Johnson, Dave Christenson, Mike Luberda, Jr. and Travis Eddy won the heat races, Justin Kazmar won the B-Main and Bill Luckhurst set fast time with a lap of 16.170.

19 Bigos Precast Late Models lined up for their 50-lap event. Bernie Murphy, Jr. sat on the pole but 15 year old Blake Childers would get past to lead the opening 12 laps before being overtaken by 2007 Track Champion Mark Welch. Welch held a commanding lead until lap 28 when a caution for a spinning Childers put 2008 Track Champion Dave Bigos on Welch's bumper. Bigos would get the jump on Welch and hop into the lead, never looking back. This was Bigos's eighth win of the season. Welch came home second with Bernie Murphy, Jr. hanging on for third and Randy Day and Ed Doutre, Jr. rounding out the top five. Doutre, Kyle Murphy and Ryan Inman took the heats with Dave Bigos setting fast time at a lap of 16.358.

A strong field of Fast Track Promotion Street Stocks lined up behind 2006 Track Champion Mark Ragsdale for their 50-lap feature event. 2005 Track Champion Tom Stone would slip past to lead the first several laps before Championship runner-up John Forsythe, III got the jump on Stone on the restart. This would give Forsythe a lead he would not return as he went on to win his third straight and sixth overall feature of the season. Jimmy Scavarda came home second with Tom Stone, Two-Time Super Late Model Champion Jon McNett, and Kevin Harder rounding out the top five. Mark Ragsdale, Nate Moon and 2004 Track Champion John Forsythe, II took the heat races with Jon McNett setting fast time with a lap of 17.252 in Dane Long's truck.

A solid field of Affordable Tire & Service Center Pure Stocks lined up for their 35-lap feature with last-weeks feature winner Steve Pelky setting the pace. Pelky would lead the opening seven laps before Jimmy Straton found the way around. Straton would find a way to keep Pelky and the other Pure Stock All-Stars at bay, as he went on to take the win. Steve Pelky came home second with Ricky Plamondon, Nick Johnson and CJ Davis rounding out the top five. Jim Gokee, Fred Adkins and Chad Decker took the heat races and Jimmy Straton set the pace in qualifying with a lap of 19.260.

The largest field of Owosso Speedway Mini-Stock's this season lined up for their 25-lap feature with 2008 Track Champion Dan Gokee on the pole. Derek Lacey would slip past early to lead the early laps before Lex Jarecki came through to lead lap five. Todd Metz, Jr. would also see time up front, until Dan Crawford took the lead on lap 19. However, contact between Crawford and Metz would hand Jarecki the lead once again, allowing him to take his first win of the season. Derek Lacey would home second with Wayne Beckner, Jr., Todd Metz, Jr. and Dan Crawford rounding out the top five. Metz and Patrick McNamara took the heats with Todd Metz, Jr. setting fast time at a lap of 20.177. The 2008 season has concluded for the Owosso Speedway.
